The lunchtime special, Chicken Schnitty, which only cost $25, was worth every cent. The topping had chopped up steak, bacon, cheese and a few other items, made it the best Chicken Parmy I've ever eaten.

I have had several meals here. Great food, great price, and great service. I have a meal every day for lunch. I have tried about ten pubs in Bundaberg so far. Sugerland Tavern has been the best by far. Highly recomend.

Easily the best restaurant/bistro in town.
Had to stand in line to order dinner for about 15 minutes but well worth the wait.

Enjoyed a lovely meal at the Sugarland Tavern. Lunch special of Rump, salad and chips. Very well presented, lovely fresh salad and steak was perfectly cooked.

Very nice staff, and delicious food even took my uncle from Adelaide (who is a chef) and he said it was one the best steaks he had ever had!!

Great service, fresh food and menue prices .. the roast dinner is so fresh & delicious. Wheelchair access. Play area for kids .. nice atmosphere clean tidy and appealing.

Great selection here....could be mistaken its Dan....large walkin driveway... unfortunately no meal this time would love to give a go, love the position lots of car parking.

Excellent food as always. Although I felt pretty ripped off one time when I asked for a schooner of Asahi which the cup was only 400ml, and the beer cost me $12.00!!! Other than that, I absolutely Love the food

The place is nice and spacious but the food isn't my taste. I ordered beef curry and rice, didn't like at all but their deep fried wings is good and chicken noodles stir fry is also good, worth the price.

Second visit to Tannum Sands Hotel was so much better than our visit last year. Full menu on offer. Great food and an excellent singer- musician playing in the background.

A lovely pub! Awesome outdoor seating areas, a jumping castle for the kids and delicious, reasonably priced meals. The staff are super friendly too.

The tavern is close to my home so we sometimes go there just because it is close. The food is ok and the drinks are moderately priced. I ordered a lamb shank and my wife ordered parrot fish 🐟.
The lamb shank was nice, it had sweet potato … More mash and beans. I had not noticed the sweet potato so I was a bit shocked to see orange on my plate. The meal was quite satisfactory, I wish there had been an option to pay for a second lamb shank, several other establishments have this option and I would have liked another shank.
My wife said the fish was nice but there was too much going on with the toppings, they overpowered the fish, first world problem.
I was pretty happy with the meal, drinks and ambiance. If you feel like a break from cooking and good old pub food, you will be quite happy with the Sugarland tavern, recommended. -
It's a good place to have a feed and a quite drink and watch TV. It's definitely not what it was in the 1970s and 80s alot quieter now. The 70s / 80s were rather wild times at the timo. Bands playing and punches flying from time … More to time. Yee haa !! The Hill Billy day's.

Could not be more impressed! We work up the road and walk down every Thursday for steak day. The chefs here are absolutely amazing and accommodating. The staff are great too, always with a smile and a warm welcome.
